FAQ
Questions we get asked
If yours is not here, ask it on the call — we would rather answer it before you sign than after.
Getting started
How quickly do the first articles go live?
About 10 working days from signing. That covers the kickoff call, getting access to your website, one sample article for you to approve, and then all 4 published.
What do you need from us to start?
One hour on a kickoff call, a login to publish on your website (or an introduction to whoever manages it), and someone who will read a draft and tell us what is wrong. That is the whole list.
How much of my time does this actually take?
One hour at the start, then roughly twenty minutes a month reading drafts. You never choose topics, write, edit, format or upload anything.
My website does not have a blog. Is that a problem?
No. Nearly every platform has one available even if nobody has switched it on, and setting it up is part of what we do in the first week at no extra cost. If your site genuinely cannot host articles, we will tell you on the call rather than after you have paid.
Does it work with my website platform?
WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, GoHighLevel, Duda and most others. We have not yet met a site we could not publish to. If yours is unusual, we will check before you commit.
The writing
Who actually writes the articles?
A person, and the same person every month. We use modern tools for research and first drafts the way an accountant uses software, but nothing reaches your website without being rewritten, fact-checked and edited by somebody who has spoken to you.
Is this just AI content?
No. AI on its own produces articles that are confidently wrong about pesticide labels, treatment intervals and what a licence lets you claim — and a page like that is a liability on your site, not an asset. Everything is checked and rewritten by a person before it is published.
How do you make it sound like my company?
The kickoff call is where that comes from: your services, your prices, your warranty, the way you explain things to customers. Before we write a full month we send one sample article, and we keep adjusting until you say it sounds right.
How long is each article?
Usually 1,200 to 1,800 words. We do not pad to hit a number — the length is whatever it takes to answer the question properly.
What if I do not like an article?
Tell us and we rewrite it. There is no limit and no charge. An article you are unhappy with is not going on your website.
Do I have to come up with topics?
Never. Topics are researched and planned a quarter ahead, and you get the coming month’s titles by email. You can swap any of them for something you would rather cover.
What if an article says something wrong about pest control?
That is exactly what the review pass is for, and it is why anything touching chemicals, application rules or safety gets checked before it is sent to you. If something still slips through, tell us and it is corrected the same day.
Results and reporting
How long until I see results?
Search results move slowly. Articles usually start picking up traffic somewhere around month three or four, and most clients can point to specific jobs by month six. Anyone promising you results in week two is selling something else.
Can you guarantee I will rank number one?
No, and nobody honestly can. What we guarantee is the work: four researched, written, optimised articles published on your site every month, and a report showing what they did.
What is in the monthly report?
Articles published, page views on those articles, enquiries that came from them, and revenue. Revenue you have confirmed came from an article and revenue we merely influenced are shown as two separate numbers and are never added together.
Is this advertising?
No. There is no ad spend and there are no clicks to pay for. An article you publish keeps bringing people in long after it was written, which is the opposite of how an ad behaves.
Money and commitment
What does it cost?
$1,200 a month, everything included. No setup fee, no tiers, no per-word charges, and the same price whether you run three trucks or thirty.
What if I want to cancel?
You can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation penalty.
Who owns the articles?
You do, completely, from the moment they are paid for. If you leave, everything stays on your website and you can edit, reuse or delete it however you like.
Can I get more than four articles a month?
Yes. Tell us what you need and we will price it before you commit — it will never appear as a surprise on an invoice.
Will you write for my competitor down the road?
No. We take one company per service area. If we are already writing for somebody in your patch, we will tell you on the first call rather than take you on and split our attention.
Still deciding? The service page covers exactly what gets written, and pricing lists what is included in each fee.
See what you would be publishing
A short call. We look at your website, your services and the towns you cover, and come back with the first three months of article titles — yours to keep either way.
