Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Second Call ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses and protects information through our website and our content writing services.

We write articles. We do not run messaging campaigns, and we do not ask for or process our clients’ customer contact lists.

2. Information we collect

  • From prospects who contact us: name, business name, email, phone number, website, location, and whatever they choose to write in the enquiry form.
  • From clients: the above, plus billing details, and information about their business shared during the engagement — services, pricing, service area, licences and similar.
  • From client websites: credentials or access granted to us for the sole purpose of publishing content, and analytics figures for the pages we have written.
  • From website visitors: basic analytics such as pages visited, referring site and general location, collected through standard website tools.

3. What we do not collect

We do not request, receive, store or process lists of our clients’ customers. We do not send marketing messages to anyone on a client’s behalf. If a client offers us a customer list, we will decline it.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to enquiries and arrange consultations
  • Research, write and publish the content a client has engaged us for
  • Report on how that content has performed
  • Issue invoices and process payments
  • Keep our own records, and improve how we work

We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add people to mailing lists because they filled in our contact form.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We share information only with service providers who help us operate — website hosting, email delivery, analytics and payment processing — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Website access credentials

Where a client grants us access to their website, those credentials are used only to publish and format their content. We request the lowest level of access that allows us to do the work, and we ask clients to revoke that access when an engagement ends.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including access controls on our systems and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

8. Data retention

Enquiry details are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client business information is kept for the duration of the engagement and for as long as needed for tax and record-keeping obligations. Anything else is deleted on request.

9. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@servicesecondcall.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and will not charge you for it.

10. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses basic cookies and analytics to understand how it is used. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work.

11. Children

Our services are sold to businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects an existing client, we will tell them by email.

13. Contact
